Summer Hiatus

Hello dear readers,

I have spent the last six weeks trying to convince myself that I could keep going, and that I did not need to take a break. However, summer has come, and with the long sunny days, there is more going on than ever. If you recall, my goal this year was to REST. Not just my body, but my mind and my soul as well. Perhaps it is indeed possible for me to continue blogging throughout the summer, but it would be at the cost of my own rest, and right now for me, rest is more important than ever.

God often calls us to obedience at the cost of the things we like to do. It is a test of loyalties and love. What, or whom do we love more? Our hobbies, talents, to do lists, and work? or God? The past several months I have been learning that, as James says, our deeds reveal our faith. My behavior here, in this situation reveals where my heart truly lies. So, I must bid you all adieu for the summer. I will most likely be back in September to wrap up the Coaching Series and begin new projects.

My prayer is that you all have a most wonderful summer, and are blessed beyond measure in your faithfulness to God.

Thank you for your patronage and see you all later!
Megan
